A basic manicure is your standard manicure. Our nail tech will start off by soaking your hands in warm soapy water to soothe and soften dead skin cells. Then the nail tech will file, buff, clean the cuticle, and massage your hands with hand cream. Painting the base coat, color, and top coat is applied next, and then finally a cuticle oil is applied.

An acrylic overlay is the combination of a liquid monomer and powder polymer that creates a hard protective layer over your natural nail.

A gel pedicure involves a manicurist applying a pre-mixed acrylic to the nails, and this mixture is then set and hardened under UV (ultra-violet) light using a small, portable UV machine. Application may involve up to three coats of gel, and each coat needs to be set or “cured” under the light.
